Twinning is an innovative educational concept, which widens the scope of educational opportunity and access for students. The twinning programme in Loyola is a tie-up between Directorate of Distance Education, Pondicherry University and Loyola College, Chennai, to provide quality education to aspiring students. This includes the Management Programmes already offered by the University through the Distance Education Mode.
This concept gives the student community a range of choices to learn and assimilate, to unfold the intricate concepts of the subjects of various programmes through a well designed and meticulously executed academic rigour. A notable distinction between the conventional Distance Educational Programme and this programme is that students undergo a rigorous extended classroom session to a maximum of 120 days instead of the usual ten-day personal contact programme.
