Rector's sharing

Dear Students, Staff, Aumni/ae and Well-wishers and friends who matter to Loyola College, and concerned about Loyola College and its onward growth…….

At the outset, I would like to let you all know that each and every one of you are in my prayers and may the choicest blessings of God be with you wherever you are and whatever you do.

Secondly, it is my bounden duty to thank profusely and profoundly, on your behalf, for all the good things that our Loyola College stood to gain under the leadership of my able and excellent predecessor Rev. Dr. B. Jeyaraj, SJ. Close on the heal was Rev. Fr. F. Andrew, SJ. In his capacity as the secretary of the college, he had done yeoman service to Loyola. Dear fathers, we fondly remember you and pray for your wellbeing.

There is no magic about the ‘magis'. It is a reality. Yes. Loyola has taken another big leap in reaching the ‘greater' height, which is truly in line with our Founder's charisma. Needless to say, this great achievement of reaching the first and the best college in the country, sets newer challenges before us. This calls for greater commitment and hard work in order to bring more meaning and vitality to our motto: ‘Let our Light Shine'. We pray that this light dispel darkness in the lives of millions of our people and bring joy and hope in abundance.

Thirdly, we, the Loyola Jesuit community together with the Staff and students, place on record our sincere thanks to all the individuals and groups, organizations and institutions who supported us monetarily and otherwise for the overall renovation of the Church in Loyola campus.

Assuring of my prayerful support and soliciting your continued cooperation to make this temple of learning as a meaningful and relevant one in establishing a world of peace and harmony, love and justice.
