In Loyola, we view education differently. The education we provide aimed at forming the character of students. Jesuit education provides space for intellectual integrity, critical inquiry, and mutual respect, where open dialogue characterizes an exciting environment of teaching, research and professional development .
We make every effort to form their person to make them ABLE, CAPABLE and EMPLOYABLE citizens of this country. The ways we teach, and the ways our students learn centre around the core ideal: forming men and women for others.
The Jesuit ideal of giving serious attention to the profound questions about the meaning of life encourages an openness of mind and heart, and seeks to provide them with opportunities for spiritual growth and development .
This year (2010-2011), after assuming our responsibility Fr Principal and myself have been making efforts to focus on mentoring, remedial coaching, developing infrastructure, and recruit and retain competent faculty.
For all these, we need to change the way we work and govern the institution. The website reconstruction is one of the efforts in that direction. We will continue to enhance the site to serve our students and staff, and for the visitors and prospective students.
