semester system
As an autonomous college, Loyola has adopted the semester-cum-credit
system.
SHIFT I
At the undergraduate level (B.A., B.Sc., & B.Com.) the curriculum
is for three years.
At the postgraduate level (M.A., M.Sc., & M.Com.) the curriculum
is for two years.
SHIFT II
At the undergraduate level (B.A., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Com. & B.Sc.), the curriculum is for three years.
At the postgraduate level (M.A.,
M.Sc., & M.C.A.) the curriculum is for two years expect for MCA – three
years under University pattern.
Each year is divided into two semesters. The duration of the semester
is 15 weeks with six working days per week.
ODD Semester: From
the third week of June to the second week of November.
EVEN Semester: From
the third week of November to the end of April.
Class Timing
SHIFT I: All
Classes begin at 8.15 a.m. and end at 1.15 p.m.
SHIFT II: All
Classes begin at 1.45 p.m. and end at 6.45 p.m.
