The youth Red Cross society was involved in the AIDS awareness camp and in the campus cleaning work.

A seminar was given by Mr. Jisho Jacob, Chief Secretary, Disaster Management Programme, Indian Red Cross, Tamilnadu. He spoke about various disasters and expressed his views on managing the disasters.

Youth Red Cross in association with IDCR and YES conducted a Oratory Competition on the topic “NENJU PORUKUTHILLIYAE” and similar programmes were conducted in four zones – Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Madurai. The Youth Red Cross members participated and volunteered in the program.
