The Department of Business Administration, from its inception in 1999, has been designed for graduates wishing to embark on a professional career in business and management. The graduates will also be equipped with the skills required to be successful in business, such as conceptual learning and practical applications, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, collaborative working and communication skills.

The Department is committed to serving our communities by recognizing the diversity of ethnicity. We encourage personal and professional development through Jesuit value-based education as a foundation for life-long learning. This major is suited for students who are excited by the prospect of working for, or setting up multi-national companies. Students will be exposed to the finer aspects of foreign policy and corporate governance.

Employability is at the heart of everything we do, and the department aims to ensure that our students are innovative, creative and entrepreneurial, which helps make our graduates competent to run their own businesses and employable across the globe. This demanding and dynamic course is designed for those looking to take their career to the next level. It will help the student develop the knowledge and skills to be a successful strategic business leader and equip them with an insight into the business practices the students will need for a future in an ever-changing global environment.

Each year our department hosts international and national level conferences, seminars, workshops and guest lecturers that help our students to stay informed about the latest development in the emerging society. Internships will be available for students to gain valuable work experience and apply the learn theories. These internships will be competitive in nature. In this supervised and taught module, explore the concept, theories and practice of project management and consultancy skills whilst building on the research methodological skills and requirements of critical debate established throughout the program. Learn how these key skills are vital within a business context to ensure rigorous decision making. The department forum has been organising to meet their professional needs of an enriched corporate life.

Developed in close consultation with a range of employers who have contributed significantly to making our graduates more effective in the workplace. The completion of the graduation gives our Loyola Leaders, that extra edge to lead international work places with the finesse and panache of a leader who tops in Success parameters of Personality, Attitude, and Content depth and genuinely, the world reckons with.
