Loyola FM

Loyola FM 107.4 is a community radio frequency. It was first started in 2005 in Loyola College Campus, Nungambakkam over a radius of 15 km.  Loyola Community Radio has initiated a variety of special programs for Transgender, gypsies, widows, visually challenged, street venders, slum dwellers, auto drivers and you name it. 
         
With UGC's special focus on Empowerment of Transgender, LCR had conducted number of medical camps on hygiene and cleanliness for the people who were affected in Chennai flood in 2015. From the beginning, LCR has a focused group for specific issues, which concern the people in the neighbourhood.

LCR has created a platform to the students of “Veethi Viruthu” to interact with famous film directors and eminent folk artists. LCR has sent a fifteen minutes program for thematic awards to the Anna University (AU) and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (IBM) in Delhi.
