M.Sc - Food Chemistry and Food Processing
PSO 1: To handle responsibilities in the areas of processing, packaging, quality control, research and development in food chemistry and food processing.
PSO 2: To qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the food components, food quality and food specifications using conventional laboratory skills and industry specific modern instruments.
PSO 3: To integrate fundamental areas of Chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nutraceuticals and sustainable food management systems in food production and manufacturing practices.
PSO 4: To implement surveillance and monitoring techniques in food safety by using food laws and regulations.
PSO 5: To develop technical and managerial skills to become an entrepreneur in food sectors and to create start-up ventures.
