LOYOLA DEBATING AND QUIZ CLUB

Objectives

The club aims to develop the speaking skills of the students and train them in critical and analytical skills required for debating in various competitions. The club seeks to represent Loyola College in various debate competitions across the country.

 

Membership

Students from I, II and III UG courses of both Shift I and Shift II have their membership at the society.
{ The I UG students who enroll come under the wing: Loyola Debating and Quiz Club. After the completion of hours, they continue to be members of LSD from II year onwards }

 

Hours of Work

The club conducts various activities like orientation sessions, training workshops and mock debates for the members to excel in their skills. Also, debates on current issues are conducted within the college to exhibit the talents as well as promote awareness to impending concerns of the society. The members represent the college in various debates and quiz competitions in other colleges in the country.
